All applications must be submitted as a hard copy. Mailed or hand delivered applications must arrive by the deadline date and time. Email submissions will not be accepted.
Applicant Eligibility:
Funding through this grant program is extremely competitive. Receiving a grant one year does not guarantee receiving funding in subsequent periods.
Applicants must be a not-for-profit, community-based organization or a designee to serve as a fiscal conduit with such status. Documentation of 501(c)(3) status is required with your application. Borough Needs grants are distributed through these City agencies only:
- Department for the Aging
- Department of Education
- Department of Parks & Recreation
- Department of Health & Mental Hygiene
- Department of Corrections.
Any organization receiving a Borough Needs Grant will be required to enter into a contract with one of these managing agencies.
Project Eligibility:
All funds are distributed on a reimbursement basis only. All funding is based on availability.
