The Borough President was introduced by William J. Bratton, Chief Executive Officer of Altegrity Security Consulting and Former Chief Executive of the Los Angeles Police Department and New York Police Department. The evening also included a performance by Vy Higginsen’s Gospel for Teens Choir and welcoming remarks by Lillian Rodríguez López, President of the Hispanic Federation.
